Does Popeye's Lockers & Storage provide a lock for the storage space? Does anyone else have a key?
You can purchase high-quality locks at our facility, or you can bring your own. Either way, you are the only person who has the key.

Does Popeye's Lockers and Storage send me a monthly invoice?
No, Popeye's Lockers & Storage doesn't invoice its customers. You can pay in advance, by credit card, debit card, cash or cheque. Complete terms are set out in our rental agreement. We do require a credit card as a security measure and it will be charged if no other payment is made when the rent is due.

Are the units heated?
All units outdoors are not heated but they are insulated. We do have indoor heated units. Please call to inquire.

Am I renting the space month to month or am I on a lease?
Our units have a 1 month minimum, then it becomes a month to month contract. However, we do require 30 days notice before vacating.

Will your staff help me move in to my storage locker?
We have a moving company that can help you move your belongings for $125.00 an hour, 4 hour minimum. This must be arranged at least one week in advance and requires a deposit.

Will you accept packages for me if I can't be there?
Yes, we will accept packages by special arrangement.

My home insurance doesn't cover storage. Do you offer insurance?
Popeye's does not offer insurance. Please arrance this with your local insurance agent

Can we work at our units/outside storage?
No, our facility is for storage only.

Is there a limit to how long I can store my goods?
As long as you pay your rent on time, there is no limit to how long you can stay.

When, and how often can I access my unit?
You can access your locker anytime you like. We offer access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, if you need to speak with us, you will have to call or come in during office hours - Monday through Friday 10-5, closed Saturday and Sundayy.

How safe are my belongings?
We do our best to keep your belongings safe and secure. We offer computer controlled gate access so that we can monitor all activity on the site. We also have on-site management and security cameras to keep an eye on things. Having said that, you are ultimately responsible for your goods during your term with us, so we recommend that you ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover your belongings.

When will my rent be due?
The rent is due on the day of the month that you start renting with us. The credit card on file will be automatically charged on the morning of this date. If you do not want your card to be charged you are welcome to come in during our office hours before this date and pay with cash,debit, or cheque.

What happens if I don't pay my rent on time?
At the very least, late fees and penalties will be incurred. In the worst case, you may lose everything you have stored. We will explain all these details to you when you rent with us, but you'll never have to worry about it as long as you pay your rent on time.

What are your office hours?
Our office is open to help you Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. The office is closed Saturday and Sunday unless special arrangements have been made ahead of time.

Is there power in your units?
No. For the safety and security of all our customers, there are no power outlets in our units.

What are the dimensions of the doors?
It depends on what size unit you have. All of our doors have about 6'5" height clearance. Widths will either be about 32" or 64".
